Welcome to Kardicoe!
In Kardicoe you will find many a great thing. From our Mediterranean-like climate near the coast of our large island, to our humid continental climate, you can expect to enjoy warm, pleasant summers and wet winters.
Kardicoe is made up of three islands - Kardicoe Island, Grecque Island, and Gallika Island. The southern part of Kardicoe Island has many forests, and two or three rain forests. The central part has less dense forests, and starts becoming more hilly and plain-like. Up north, including the other two islands, it's rare to spot hills, mountains, or anything except plains. Though, on Gallika Island there is a dormant volcano named Heracles.
You will see early on that we speak a mixture of English, French, and Greek, with a varied culture that is now our own. Don't worry if you don't know one of the languages, all three are our official languages!
We have many currency exchange stations spread throughout the kingdom. Our currency is the Imperial Sickle, or Sic for short. For two sics, you would need €1 - or $1.36.
Kardicoe is nicknamed 'The Cherry Nation' for it's large exports of cherries, which are common on the islands. Cherries are the national fruit.
Kardicoe actually has a large amount of foxes. Foxes are not native, however, because they were imported to the islands. A shipment of foxes broke loose and wasn't caught. Unfortunately, the foxes are not welcomed by the scientific community because they eat a lot of the native plants which the native wildlife depends on.
Recently, a large number of native animals called Chollimas were discovered in an unexplored portion of Kardicoe. These have been renamed as the nation's national animal.

Culture
Culture is pretty important to the Kardicoain people. Many like to celebrate All Saints' Day and Christmas, though Christmas is the only national holiday.
There are special Kardicoe recipes, dances, and style of clothing. Their style of clothing are usually bright colors such as redish-pinks, light greens, yellows, and lilacs. They also include wide varieties of flowers as accessories. Women usually wear flowy short dresses in casual times, long, pencil-type dresses in formal times, and pants in the very casual times. Men only wear shorts in very casual times, while they wear capris or pants in the casual times, and long sleeved shirts and long pants in formal times.
On May 11th, when Kardicoe Day rolls around, cultural dances are performed for both pleasure and competition. During that day, traditional Kardicoain recipes are made, and a feast is held in Fleur-de-Lis.

Our Government
Kardicoe's government is a monarchy, which means we are ruled by royalty - in our case, Queen Melas. Don't worry, however. She isn't a crazy, self-centered dictator. She's a woman who cares about her people.

A Little History About Us
When spacecraft first came to this planet, a French and a Greek stepped out onto what is now the Grecque island - the smaller island off the north coast. Their names are unknown as of now, but we do know that they sent back a message to their governments laying their claim. However, their was a conflict between which nation actually owned the new kingdom.
Agreeing to peacefully resolve this, they both decided to drop the claims after helping to set up the government there. The day they dropped the claims, and declared Kardicoe an independent nation was May 11th, 3010, which is now known as Kardicoe Day.
Unfortunately, all nations must add in a tragic event somewhere. Around November of this year, a rather scary flu epidemic broke out in Kardicoe and it's surrounding islands. The king - among many others of course - died. While we have a now known cure for this so-called Indie Flue, it's still a tragedy to lose such a person of importance.

A Little About Us
The Kingdom of Kardicoe is made up of one large island, and two smaller islands. The mainland is simply Kardicoe Island, while the other two are the Grecque and Gallika islands.
Our kingdom is made up of a great ten thousand and counting people. The ethnicity rates are 30% French, 40% Greek, 10% American, 5% Real Kardicoain, 15% Other.
----
------
----
Military
Our military forces are voluntary, though we hold a draft in war-times. Our official army has about three thousand troops. While it's small, we do believe it to be pretty organized, and therefore reliable and powerful.
---
-----
---
Economy
Since Kardicoe is an island nation that gets plenty of sun and precipitation, it's main exports are crops. They grow many new plants indigenous to Arahania like the Rashinberry, or Mint Nut. However, they also grow familiar things such as cherries and bananas.
However, Kardicoe has one other major export advantage - fishing. Fishing is very big on the three little islands, and is to date their main economical point.

Relations and Embassies
Our relations with the indigenous people is unknown, for contact with them is little, as well as primitive. They do not speak our languages well, and we do not speak their languages well.
However, our relationship with the Czech Republic is known. Both nations are newly-found allies, with an embassy in both nations.
We have a Czech Embassy.
